Such a good trip despite challenging weather. Our guides ( Ed & Hugh) kept us upbeat & positive. We learned so much Irish history, literature, wildflowers. We were kept safe on big hikes at all times..

The hiking and scenery in the hills and mountains was incredible- everything GREEN and so many sheep and cows. We timed our trip for a "wet" Ireland and were prepared for the howling winds and lots of rain- actually made the trip. Our guide "Hugh" was so valuable with his knowledge of Ireland through the centuries and current times-he engaged us to use our "critical thinking" of our experiences. Our other guide "Ed" was so genuine, friendly and very motivating as we trekked, a real positive force and really made sure we were well taken care of on the trails. We stayed in very nice hotels in Dublin and Cork and clean and friendly Bed and Breakfasts throughout the Dingle Peninsula County Kerry. The restaurants and Pubs all had excellent food and wonderful Jameson and Guinness or a local brew. We met many local people and our group was so energizing, met new friends and also traveled with friends from a trip last year to Utah with World Wide Trekking. Our trip was fantastic! Our guide, Joseph, was incredible...not only knowledgeable, but very helpful. The food, lodges/hotels, and of course the interaction with our fellow trekkers was outstanding. The trek had a great balance of challenging days and time to relax. It was just awesome!
