Inside Capitol Reef National Park, learn the fundamentals of canyoneering—rappelling, scrambling, and traversing sandstone cliffs—under the guidance of expert instructors. Multiple rappels introduce progressively more technical terrain, building confidence and excitement throughout the day.

Start the morning with one of Capitol Reef’s most scenic hikes: the Sulphur Creek Narrows. Follow flowing water through towering canyon walls, dramatic narrows, and lush desert pockets as the canyon gradually opens back into the desert.
