Day 1

Arrival day – Transfer to Les Houches – (FRA)

  • Arrival in Geneva, Switzerland. (GVA)

  • Meet your guide at the airport and transfer by a private coach to the moun-

    tain village of Les Houches, France.

  • After checking into the hotel, you will have a night of leisure to look around the area and become acclimated to the surroundings.

  • Our welcome orientation and safety briefing will be followed by a welcome dinner.

  • Overnight: Les Houches, France

  • Meals included: Welcome Dinner

Day 2

Les Houches – Les Contamines – Les Houches (FR)

  • We take the public bus to the cable car station and ride to Bellevue. From here on a clear day, we get to enjoy great views of the Chamonix Val-

    ley and the Mont Blanc Range, before beginning our hike to Les Contamines.

  • We hike past the Bionassay glacier and the rolling

    slopes of Col du Tricot. Afterwards we descend

    into the Valley of Les Contamines-Montjoie.

  • We end the hike by riding our private coach from Les Contamines-Montjoie to Les Houches

  • Hiking note: Approx. hiking distance: 14 miles. Time: 7h. Up: 900 m, Down: 1300 m. At the end of the hike is a steep descent before it goes up again to the hotel.

  • Overnight: Les Houches, France

  • Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner at Hotel

Day 3

Les Houches – Bourg Saint Maurice (FR)

  • After breakfast, we ride on our private coach to Les Contamines and from there hike to the wonderful Baroque Chapel Notre Dame de la Gorge.

  • Climb up along an old Roman ridge and past an original Roman bridge. Ascent to the Col Du Bon- homme (7641 feet).

  • After the pass, the road comes down in a small hidden valley and descends through narrow gorges called “the Priest’s Path” to a mountain pasture where we will meet the famous “tarine” cows.

  • Today the group tackles steep uphill and downhill routes on rough terrain; this part of the tour can be extremely difficult, but hikers’ feeling of

    satisfaction after climbing the Col du Bonhomme makes the challenges worthwhile. At the end of the hike, a private transfer to the hotel.

  • Hiking note: Approx. hiking distances: 11 miles. Time: 7h, up: 1340 m, down: 930 m. The hike starts with a steep ascent.

  • Overnight: Bourg Saint-Maurice, France

  • Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 4

Bourg Saint-Maurice (FR) – Courmayeur (IT)

  • After breakfast, we will begin the day with a private transfer to La Ville des Glaciers, the starting point of today’s hike.

  • Today’s journey takes us from France to Italy. We climb through open pastures and snowfields to Col de la Seigne (8254 feet) and the border with

    Italy, while admiring the amazing view over the south-west side of the Mont Blanc range. We pass by picturesque glacier lakes while descending into beautiful Val Veni.

  • This 45-minute descent brings us to the small hamlet of La Visaille, from where we will take a public bus to the picturesque town of Courmayeur, Italy.

  • Hiking note: Approx. hiking distance: 14 miles. Time: 7h, up: 760 m down: 840 m.

  • Overnight: Courmayeur, Italy

  • Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

Day 5

Free day at Courmayeur – (IT)

  • After a rich breakfast at the Hotel, enjoy a free day for Rest and Rejuvenation.

  • Explore the city of Courmayeur, Italy, and the surrounding areas.

  • Do what you like the most. If the weather is nice, the “Skyway” cable car ride up to Pointe Helbronner, it is highly recommended (not included). Or visit the famous hot springs of Pré St. Didier (not included).

  • Overnight: Courmayeur, Italy

  • Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

Day 6

Courmayeur – Val Ferret – Courmayeur (IT)

  • After breakfast we will start the steep climb up to Refugio Bertone (6463 feet) with the best view of the Mont Blanc massif.Descend into the village of Courmayeur to sight-see and shop.

  • Hike along Mont de la Saxe, taking the balcony path facing the ridge of the Grandes Jorasses. Stop for a picnic lunch and take in the unforgettable view.

  • Descend to Arp Nouva, at the very end of Val Ferret from where we transfer to Courmayeur by public bus.

  • Hiking note: Approx. hiking distance: 9 miles. Time: 4h 30min, up: 1100 m, down: 60m.

  • Overnight: Courmayeur, Italy

  • Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

Day 7

Courmayeur (IT) - Orsiéres, (CH)

  • Right after a great breakfast at the hotel, we will take the private transfer to Arp Nouva.

  • The morning begins with climb to Pré de Bar and across the Grand Col Ferret (2537m or 8323 ft.), the highest pass of the Tour du Mont Blanc, and descends into the hamlet of Ferret (1705m or 5593 ft.), Switzerland.

  • From here, we enjoy the view of the deep, green forest crawling up the foothills of the surrounding mountains.

  • Hiking note: Approx. hiking distance: 12 miles. Time: 6h 30min, up: 870 m, down: 1280 m.

  • Overnight: Orsiéres, Switzerland

  • Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

Day 8

Orsiéres (CH) - Chamonix (FR)

  • Delight yourself with a nutritious breakfast before heading out and taking the Public Bus to Champex-Lac and start the Bovine Way, an old trail used to access the flower-filled summer cow pastures high above the valley, we continue along our circuit today, passing the Col de la Forclaz (5000 feet).

  • In the afternoon we will take a private transfer to Chamonix, France.

  • Hiking note: Approx. hiking distance: 10.5 miles / Time: 5h10, up: 900 m, down: 1080 m

  • Overnight: Chamonix, France

  • Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

Day 9

Chamonix, France

  • Start your day right with an energy-packed breakfast.

  • Right after, we will ride a public bus and drive to the starting point of our last hike on our Mont Blanc Tour. We head towards the Chamonix Valley hike through the Aiguilles Rouges nature reserve. This route passes the iconic mountain lakes of Chezery and Lac Blanc, providing us with the unique panorama facing the Mont Blanc massif.

  • This will, without a doubt, be a memorable end for our hiking journey before descending to the upper station of the Flegère cable car to Les Praz and returning by local public bus to Chamonix.

  • Finally, our day finishes with a delicious farewell dinner at a local restaurant.

  • Hiking note: Approx. hiking distance: 8 miles. Time: 6hrs, up: 1230 m, down: 600 m.

  • Overnight: Chamonix, France

  • Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Celebration Dinner

Transfer to Geneva Airport and Departure

After breakfast, we have a transfer by private coach to Geneva Airport to catch your flight home.
